I think the interior quality is solid, it doesn’t fall apart like the trash from the competitors. You can also swap the steering column to a tilting one, same with upgrading the wheel to a leather one. There are ways around your complaints.

The Cologne engine is surprisingly bad for that it's made in Germany.

Got a 2002 with 212k miles, rides smooth and quiet. Couple of annoying unimportant problems like a bad door lock actuator, outside temp/compass display is out, etc. Only real problem is a small rear main seal leak, oil pan too. I'll lose about a quart every 5k miles, so I change it every 3-4k. It's been a decent pickup. Other than all the regular maintenance costs, I'm not going to invest too much money if something expensive breaks at this point. If I can just squeeze another 38k miles out of it, I'll be pretty satisfied lol.

Don't waste your money on those 4th gen and earlier explorers. The 4.0L engines that come in them are poor designed and junk. They are only good as a normal daily driver. Don't even attempt to try to add performance parts to that truck, just asking for trouble. Just keep up the normal maintenance on it and your fine.

It's not making +400whp, you're making "approx" 400bhp which you only hold for 700rpm. You're basically making IS38 power but peaking lower, everywhere in the power band by 700rpm. If you went with Corn or Aux Fueling, you'd would subtract that 700rpm loss and peak higher. But, are you willing to do that on a DQ250? It's the wrong turbo, seriously. EQT is saving you from roasting that DSG.

That is the wrong turbo. It will live in the surge line too long. It will come alive more so when your at much higher speeds in the triple digits. Remember to size the turbo with the engine size and that makes for a much better time all around. The autozone open intake needs to go - that will create more issues than anything. In the future, when you mess with the DVs - don't get them and push ALL THE WAY down on the piston right out of the box 👍

Now, after commenting on your over a year old WG Actuator ordeal, I see you went with a 3071R. Watching you above 4K and not accelerating means there is something wrong because you ain't movin'.

1st things are: You stated that the HPA tune has 407torque / Well, that is in Nm NOT ft lbs. So, it's "low torque" at 300ft lbs. I am certain you have maybe dealt with your WG Actuator issue and certain you may have needed to replace the actuator. The Actuator Arm to WG elbow is common for problems; as you live in a region that is cool and then warm. The connection I described is prone to getting stuck - be it rust or whatever. If you hear "whining" or "whistling" then that could be the compressor wheel. Just remove the intake from the turbo + the inlet and disconnect the DP and check for play in the compressor wheel or exhaust. If you aren't having any leaks and the wheels are in tact then you can point in the direction of the actuator. When making videos and putting Titles on them - stick to the topic. You will have a more interested audience, other than talking about "possible futures" and driving to the store.

I bought my mk7.5 2021 GTI with a IE stage 2 tune was never told about it. The car only had 6 k miles and it looked stock didn’t have any crazy looking things in the engine bay and I didn’t know better I wasn’t looking into modding my GTI anyway. Whole time it had a IS38 turbo with a 034 motorsports downpipe. And also the downpipe was quite idk how but the car never made any noise which was weird since it is non catted. Anyway recently in the last 5 months I made sure to get the supporting mods needed for the tune it had. I have an Apr carbon fiber intake, oil catch can, cts front mount intercooler, and I just got a muffler delete kit from Ecs tuning and took off the resonator but added two resonators on the muffler delete. Overall since then the car runs great. No issues have only put 7k miles in the two years of owning and the car never blue while driving without support mods.
